Our Story

After we lost our boy Niko to cancer, we began researching the ultra-processed dog foods and treats available in pet stores across America. While convenient, we found that many of these products contained numerous fillers and byproducts. This prompted us to delve into the benefits of balanced raw feeding, which has many advantages. Thus, Buffalo Freeze Dry was created. This journey also led me to become a Certified Professional Canine Nutritionist (CPCN). Our mission is to offer a product you can trust completely. Our logo was created to pay tribute to our beloved boy, NIKO, who inspired the founding of this company. The MOUNTAINS symbolize his passion for running freely on our property in the countryside. The BUFFALO represents our deep affection for our hometown of Buffalo, NY. In the center, you'll find KODA, our current Doberman, our sweet boy NIKO, who watches over us with his wings up in the clouds. This logo holds great significance for us, and we wanted to share a glimpse into its origins.
